This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Women's Studies Program at UCF! From 1994 to 2014, the Women's Studies Program has awarded 59 Undergraduate Certificates, 14 Graduate Certificates, and 645 Minors for a total of 720 awards. This popular academic program has evolved to become a focal point of UCF campus life, with many students finding themselves drawn not just to the curriculum, but also the element of service that Women's Studies embraces.
To celebrate we're hosting our Women's Studies Happy Hour Fundraiser at Maxine's on Shine to not only raise funds for our program, but to also recognize the incredible work of our past and present Directors! They include Carol Adams (History), Shelley Park (Philosophy), Cecilia RodrÃguez Milanés (English), Lisa Logan (English), Kate Oliver (English), Shelley Park (Philosophy), Kathlynn Seidel (English + Former Dean), Joyce Lilie (Interim Director), and MC Santana!
