Have you ever wanted to learn the basics of calligraphy, but don't know where to start? Or maybe just looking for something fun and new to try? This course is meant for any beginner with no experience with calligraphy writing styles. Coursework will focus on modern style pointed pen calligraphy, taught by hand letterer and designer Taryn Sutherland of Twinkle & Toast based in San Diego. You'll learn history, terminology, basics of pressure and ink flow, techniques, and of course learn how to calligraph the alphabet and find your unique and personal style.
