Whistle While you Work! Join the Ladies of UNED!TED as we kick-off Cabaret Season Tuesdays @ the MEZZ (276 King Street) - Charleston's Premiere Jazz Listening Club!
September 2nd, 2014
7:30pm and 9:30pm

Cabaret began in Europe as a small, intimate listening experience. UNED!TED continues in that tradition...with a twist of cosmopolitan musical styles and cross-genre pairings. Expect witty banter, jokes (the good, the bad, and the ugly), tidbits of history and incredible vocal harmonies as we pay tribute to one of America's favorite holidays - LABOR DAY!

Whether you work 9 to 5, or a hard day's night - there's a song in this for you! And for the hungry at heart, feel free to sit down and pair a delightful musical evening with dinner and refreshments from Sermet's dinner service (available before and during showtimes).

There's a show for the EARLY BIRD (7:30pm) and the NIGHT OWL (9:30).***
House opens half hour before each showing.

***Due to the intimate nature of seating in our venue, we are not able to exchange early for late show (and vice versa) tickets day of show. We will accommodate all parties for seating as we are able and ask that you join us in the spontaneous spirit of Cabaret and get to know your neighbor in our friendly arts atmosphere!

ARTIST BIOS
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Laura Ball is an arts activist, performer/composer and noisemaker dedicated to creating a greater awareness of cultural identity and spreading joy through the collaborative mediums of music and interdisciplinary arts.  Equally at home in both the classical and contemporary repertoires, Ball believes in building bridges through sound.

Mary Fishburne, a South Carolina native, has performed throughout the country but is so glad to call Charleston home, thanks to the wonderfully kind and talented artists in the community. Although a self-proclaimed lover of the spotlight, Mary's first love and priority is teaching and helping cultivate our next generation of performers and audience-goers.

Becca Anderson is a local actor/singer/mover/shaker who most recently appeared in Folly Beach with PURE Theatre (Alice) and Spamalot  with the Village Repertory Company (Lady of the Lake  Theatre Charleston Outstanding Actress in a Musical Nominee). With a great passion for all things artistic, Anderson also serves as a coach, judge, and performer for a variety of educational and independent events in the community. She is honored to be Charleston City Paper's Best of 2014 Critic's Pick for Best Local Actress.
