BRAHMS Op. 92 SCHUMANN Op. 74 WHEELER Love Song Walzes (premiere) BRAHMS Neue Liebeslieder, Op. 65
Held in Wallace Hall, Caritas Concerts have the appeal of the less formal salon concerts of the 19th century. The evenings begin and end with light refreshments and a chance to mingle with the performers, and intimate seating places the audience in close proximity to the music. As the name suggests, Caritas Concerts are benefits, with all proceeds directed toward charities that address social justice concerns.
Polydora Ensemble is Sarah Brailey, soprano; Kate Maroney, mezzo-soprano; Nils Neubert, tenor; Jesse Blumberg, baritone and Yuri Kim and David Oei, piano
