Intro to Herbalism (February)
Victrola Cafe Seattle, WA
Sales have ended for this event. |
|
In this two-hour intro class, you will learn about basic concepts of holistic western herbalism, commonly used western herbs, different ways of using herbs, safety, dosage, and where to find resources with good information. This is a great class for both complete beginner and even people who have been dabbling for a few years.
Some herbs we will be discussing are: marshmallow root, sage, yarrow, elderberry, red root, uva ursi, and dandelion.
Bring a notebook, come with questions, and be ready to learn. Natalie is a fast-paced teacher, and she likes to cover as much as possible in the time.
This is a great introduction to the school if you're considering taking the Foundations of PNW herbalism course, or the Apprenticeship course. |
