On the eve of the Presidential Inauguration, the BROOKLYN FREEDOM CONCERT will present an evening of performance and art from across the spectrum inspired by the inclusivity and equality of all people. Hosted by Petra Fried (NYC's premiere drag queen), the evening will feature local musicians Bryan Dunn, Jeremy Bass, Chanese Elife, and more, new works by classical composers Alex Weston and Alyssa Weinberg, classical musicians and instrumentalists including Brooklyn's own Opera Cowgirls, and spoken word. All proceeds go directly to local civil rights and women's organizations in NYC.
Hosted by Unit J at 338 Moffat Street, off the Wilson L train, Thursday, 1/19, at 7pm
