Youve never seen a fairy tale quite like this one put on the Playhouse Performers. Take what you know about Cinderella and throw it out the window because the only hints of the classic story here are the step-family, the ball, and the shoe.

Rosey Snow (Hailey Hill) ends up in the archetypal miserable maiden role typical of most fairy tales. Her mother is dead, she lives with the evil step mother (Rebecca Lyons) and step sisters (Brittney Adams and Carolynne Bremmer), hates her life, etc. But hold onto your hats as a Troll (Tristan Jackson) crawls out of their well, the village idiot (Rylee Thomas) attempts to give her dancing lessons, her father (Daniel Boynton) cant ever find his pants, and the fairy godmother shows up drunk to save the day. All these bizarre plot turns and twists can be found in Don Nigros unique adaptation to the classic story.

Directed by Jodi Perry, the show is performed in the Playhouse's Wall to Wall* original concept, providing an interesting angle for this crazy story to play out.

The play is filled with epic lines designed to make the audience laugh out loud, like when Rosey says Mother! Why are you always dead when I need you?But it felt as if these lines were delivered without that funny punch often leaving awkward silences throughout the audience where a pause for laughter would have been.

Dinner is provided by Shanaz Home Kitchen Cuisine and must be ordered prior to 5pm the previous day.
