The time has come for us to round up another bunch o' lovers, nourish ourselves with glitter and sunshine and watch how we blossom! In our next edition of Act Natural, we are branching out with fresh-cut elements to wiggle our hips and energize our souls. We're bringing our event to a very special, newly renovated, intimate venue in Golden Hill. On this sacred Sunday, we'll have morning yoga and sound healing, daytime dance floors and lounge areas, live art, vendors, bars and plenty of room for your typical Act Natural shenanigans!
Our planet is a magical, turbulent, chaotic place, and our dancing shoes are stomping around very fertile soil in southern California. We call the shots on what kind of seeds we are growing in it. We will be sowing an assortment of different non-profits to bring into our community. Mama earth needs us to churn our connections into action, and throw in a damn good time while we're at it!
All of our proceeds from this event will go directly to Everyone Deserves a Chance, a local non-profit organization that give youth an opportunity to harness their inner creativity through digital music production. We've all experienced music as a uniting, ceremonial frequency through which we can connect to ourselves and each other. With your donation, we are able to help grow EDAC's organization and teach more youth how to dj! Their workshops and programs inspire the lives of children who may not otherwise have had a chance to expand their musical self.
In addition to supporting this heart-opening cause, we're dreaming up an interactive art display of some incredible non-profits that are lighting up our world, globally and locally! It will feature exciting information, event dates, and volunteer opportunities for those of us who want to get involved.
This is a 21+ event. We will be serving up drinks from local breweries for a suggested donation of $5 each. 100% of drink donations will go to EDAC.
