Our August "Music Is Life" house concert with Nashville artist David Newbould, Tom McBride, and Cowards Choir was incredible. These shows have been a huge success, and it's because of people like YOU!

We invite you to join us for our 4th show, featuring the amazing singer-songwriter Kipyn Martin, followed by the talented Nashville-based rock band, GOODING.

We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance, as space is limited. Tickets start at $15 in advance, and will be $20 at the door.

About the Artists:

Kipyn Martin is an award-winning Americana singer/songwriter whose roots sink into the banks of the Shenandoah River. She currently plays festivals, concert halls, coffeehouses, and house concerts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Kipyn's accolades include earning Gold Awards in recent Mid-Atlantic Song Contests for her songs "Dance Across the Sky" (produced by Dave Mallen) and "Nightbird", as well as the WAMMIE Award for New Artist of the Year. She also tours as one-half of the highly successful duo show "Joan & Joni: A Tribute to the Music of Joan Baez & Joni Mitchell. GOODING is soul-stirring, animated Rock n Roll from the Plains. With over 1,000 shows in 160 cities under its belt, this Nashville-based/Kansas-bred four-piece is by far one of the hardest-working bands in America. The band blasts out majestic indie rock with soaring harmonies and virtuoso guitar infused with the ghosts of Blues and Americana. GOODING's live shows have the confident energy and heart-on-your-sleeve emotion that echo the closeness and passion of these long-time friends. GOODINGs music has been placed on the DVDs of Iron Man 2, Walk the Line, Ice Age 2, as well as in many commercials. This will also be a special event celebrating 10 years of Innovation Station Music, co-host Dave Mallen's award-winning recording studio. A champion of independent musicians and the DC-area music scene, Dave is building a state-of-the-art studio that will offer world-class music production facilities, business strategies for musicians, and events designed to bring the greater community into the music creation process (that means YOU!). Food and wine/beer will be served, however you are welcome to donate additional food and beverages. REDSKINS FANS: We will have the game on during the first hour if you need to catch the final moments! All are welcome to hang out and eat/drink/mingle with the artists after the show!
