> Asian North American Christians today are continuing the trend towards affiliating with multicultural and megachurches and their franchises. What does this tell us about the future of ANA Christianity? In this forum, we will first explore the impact of theological education and colorblind theology and spirituality on the future of ANA Christians and their faith communities. The forum will not pitch ethnic churches against multicultural megachurches. Rather, we will stress, as did the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3, that Gods people need to be familiar with what they discard and retain for the sake of the advancement of the gospel. Second, taking into account how stories shape how we view reality and how we respond to life, we will explore ways to transmit ANA stories and ANA Christian legacies to the next generation. We seek to share stories of healthy practices and cultures of intergenerational ethnic immigrant churches in order to balance widely disseminated stories of dysfunction. In the end, we want to address how our ANA Christian legacy can speak into our future.
