Itty bitty bugs are all around us, if you know where to look! This 4-week parent-child nature exploration course introduces toddlers to the world of insects, spiders, slugs and more. We will carefully observe them, explore their habitats, learn why they are so important to the environment and practice how to treat them with love and respect. Each session starts with a story and song. Then we will move through different hands-on activities and finally we will hike, play and explore on a short walk through Seward Park. Activities will cultivate both your child's sensory awareness, curiosity and wonder in nature. This program will also cultivate your skills as a guide for your little one!
