An introduction to felt making in a fun, relaxed environment. Learn a new craft and discover the wonderful world of felting. Your child will get a chance to make a picture or table mat using pure, hand dyed, marino wool. As with all our arts and crafts adventurers, nature will be at the centre of what we create, using the beautiful wildlife gardens in Deptford as her surrounds as our inspiration.

Cost: £15 per child, adults free. Price covers the cost of all materials and refreshments.

Old Tidemill Gardens is a wildlife garden in the heart of Deptford brought back to life by Assembly SE8. Assembly SE8 is a diverse collective of artists, gardeners, designers, makers and bakers working with local residents to instigate projects, events and exchanges that are creative and engaging at Old Tidemill School in Deptford.

The Old Tidemill has become a hub for creativity, skill sharing and encouraging social action and postivive change to transform the garden and playground into an accessible and unique wild space in the heart of Deptford.
