"A Midsummer Night's Dream," a newly formed tax-exempt support group committed to financially strengthening NYCB's residency in Saratoga Springs, will celebrate NYCB's 50-year anniversary here on July 24th from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The National Museum of Dance in Saratoga.

The star attraction will be music performed by a Jazz Group NYCB Orchestra members, headed up by Principal Bassist and performing arts entrepreneur, Ron Wasserman.

Paul Kolnik, who has photographed the New York City Ballet continuously at SPAC for almost 40 years and has had exhibitions in major museums including in Moscow and St. Petersburg, has a year-long exhibition featured by the National Museum of Dance in their "Art in the Foyer" series and will be available for viewing.

A collection of memories by dancers, musicians and audiences, commemorating the importance of 50 years of NYCB at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, will be on display and a video presentation with excerpts from interviews with dancers who appeared in the premiere season in 1966 will be played continuosly throughout the event.

Beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be served. All proceeds will support NYCB at SPAC and will be earmarked for that purpose.
