Mt. Baker Lodge is located on the Mt. Baker Highway and is within walking distance from the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The lodge provides a rustic yet comfortable home base for hiking, photography and exploring. All Mountaineers members and guests as well as all ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy the camaraderie of other lovers of the out-of-doors in a family friendly environment. Families with children five or under should call the host prior to registering.
Please sign up for all nights you intend to stay. Sign-ups close Thursday at noon. Please cancel by Thursday at noon for a refund. No refunds will be issued if a cancellation is made after Thursday at noon. There is no food served Friday night.
When you register for this event you will only see an option for "Will call" for delivery methods. This is normal. It just means that no physical ticket will be mailed to you. You will also see a map that shows the location of the lodge in Glacier, WA. This is not the location of the lodge. Please refer to the Baker Lodge website for all information about the lodge, including directions.

Winter Travel
The WA Department of Transportation plows Mt. Baker highway as needed to keep the road open to the ski area. The crew is on duty from 4:00 am till 2:30 pm and is housed at the Shuksan DOT station located at milepost 46. If there is snowfall after 2:30 they may or may not plow the road and you may be required to install chains on your car including cars that are all wheel drive. If you are seriously concerned about your ability to get to the lodge you can stop by the DOT station and ask them about road conditions provided it's no later than 7:30 pm. When coming to the lodge be prepared to install chains. When parking in the lot make sure you are parking outside the fog line and not on the highway. Vehicles parked on the highway or inside the fog line will be towed or hit by snowplows. When you are in the lodge check the parking lot map on the bulletin board to make sure you are parked correctly. |
