The first of our live music performances in one of our favorite settings, the Main Gallery of the Community Creative Center, featuring our favorite returning artists the world performing Miami String Quartet. Good friend, principal bassist of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and teacher at The Colburn Coservatory, Peter Lloyd joins the quartet with one of our great SummerFest Artists violist Phillip Stevens. Program includes two short works by Bruce Adolphe, Hoo Doo for viola and bass and I'm Inclined to New Music, a partnering work for Eine Kleine Nacht Music. But the focus of the evening....Brahms Sextet. What? No second cellist? You don't want to miss seeing Peter take on this challenge.
