If SNL's Nick the Lounge Singer really could sing, he might sound like Velvet Tom, the outrageously gifted (and just plain outrageous) lounge lizard extraordinaire. Eyes hidden behind tinted aviators, outfitted in crushed velvet and polyester ruffles, VT is an unstoppable force, especially when backed by The Velveetahs, an elite group of his "wives, ex-wives and future ex-wives." Together they perform some hilariously insane -- and yet beautifully performed -- mashups of pop and classic tunes. Now you can catch this "Lover. Loser. Legend." live when he headlines a special performance that includes his "horny harmonies" and the city's best burlesque.
Velvet Tom is joined by a rotating cast of variety, comedy and burlesque performers each month.
