The Janice Lopez Ovarian Cancer Foundation Inc. (JLOCF), is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) with the mission of raising money to support ovarian cancer awareness, research, education and ovarian cancer patient/family support. We will be hosting our 3rd Annual Concert For A Cure on September 25th at the Tony Award winning Crossroads Theater in New Brunswick, N.J. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour during a silent auction and will be followed by a performance of Broadway hits as performed by the acclaimed Encore Orchestra of New Jersey. The ensemble is comprised of some of the most sought after musicians and singers in the New York metropolitan area, many with numerous Broadway credits and Tony Award Nominations. The underwriter for the Encore Orchestra is the St. Peters Healthcare System. The Emcee for this years performance will be 2016 Miss New Jersey USA Jessielyn Palumbo.
JLOCF, a small family run foundation, was incorporated in 2011 in memory of Janice Lopez who passed away in 2009 after an almost four year battle with this dreaded disease. Since Janice was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December 2005 our family has raised $79,000 to fight this dreaded disease.
