Bullitt Center Tours - Spring 2016 Schedule

Bullitt Center IDL
Seattle, WA

Sales have ended for this event.

The Bullitt Center, described by Architectural Digest as "the greenest office building in the world", offers public tours 2 days a week. Tours will begin with our exhibit hall, and include the building's mechanical and electrical rooms, the gray water and rain water treatment systems, non-flush composting toilets and the "irresistible" stairway.

Tours are available to all ages and are accessible for those with limited mobility*. A typical tour lasts just over an hour.

Tours are facilitated by the University of Washington Center for Integrated Design, located on the ground floor of the Bullitt Center (1501 E. Madison Street). Enter on the west side, adjacent to McGilvra Place Park, near the ping pong table. Parking is scarce, so we encourage guests to use mass transit.

Public tours are led by volunteer docents from the CID, a collaborative between the University of Washington Integrated Design Lab and the Bullitt Foundation.

*If you or a member of your group need mobility accommodation, please email prior to your tour. For private tours please contact Deborah Sigler, dcommons@uw.edu.

Tours are subject to cancellation for under 5 attendees. We will happily reschedule your tour if a cancellation occurs.
