Dr. Allan Armitage is a well known speaker, writer and researcher throughout the world.  He has written numerous academic papers, and books that serve as classroom texts, reference books and gardeners companions  Allan teaches online courses on perennials and has written "Armitages's Greatest Perennials and Annuals," an APP for smart phones and tablets. He holds numerous academic degrees and has organized tours to the great gardens of the world for more that 25 years. He has developed and maintained The Trial Gardens at UGA where new plants fro breeders thought the world were evaluated for heat and humidity performance .  His numerous award list is lengthy but in keeping with this lecture we may mention that he has received the Garden Club of America Gold medal for his teachings on horticultural information.
The Seattle Garden Club and the Pamela Green Lecture series invite you to attend this party and lecture which will be informative, entertaining and one not to be missed.
