LeGacy Presents is proud to bring back the beloved family Christmas classic...A Christmas Story to the historic Nevada Theatre from November 27th through December 27th.
Shawnna Frazer directs the Philip Grecian adaptation of the hit 1983 movie written by Jean Shepherd, whose tale of little Ralphie Parker's Christmas wish for a Red Ryder BB gun is told with poignancy and humor, interspersed with the nostalgia of a 1939 Indiana town's holiday season.
LeGacy newcomer Max Maliszewski plays nine year old Ralphie Parker. LeGacy veterans John Bivens and Nadia White take their comedic turn as Ralphie's parents. Deana Martinez plays Ralphie's teacher Miss Shields. Other cast members include Gaibrial Morton, Helena O'Dell, and Connor McGehee
Narration throughou the play is cleverlytold by "grown up" Ralph, LeGacy veteran, Matt Teff.
Thursday shows at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2pm, with a special Christmas Eve matinee at 2pm.
