Our 12th Annual Cookin' on the Kaw Blues & BBQ Contest, Friday, October 9, 2015 at De Soto Riverfest Park. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Concert is from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. featuring 51% Blues. Complete entertainment lineup to be announced soon.
Visit the 49 competition BBQ teams and watch as they prepare for the Kansas City Society Sanctioned BBQ Contest.
You be the judge by purchasing People's Choice tickets to sample chicken drummies and vote for your favorite starting at 6 p.m. until quantities are exhausted. Cost to participate in the People's Choice is only $5 for 10 samples. These tickets are limited to 200, so purchase in advance.
Advance admission tickets: $7.50 per person with FREE parking!
Kid's 10 and under are FREE
Gate admission tickets: $12.50 per person with FREE parking!
Save by purchasing early! You MUST have an admission ticket to enter the park. Food and beverages available for sale. Admission tickets include admission to the event and music entertainment. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. No food or drink allowed into the park during the concert. Food vendors will be available to purchase food. No readmittance. This is a rain or shine event. No refunds on advance tickets.
