Linwood Peel brings "The Sounds of The Drifters" to Manhattan this summer. You don't want to let this season pass without listening and dancing to this incredible American performer.
On August 28, 2015, Friday, Peel serenades his audience in a concert dubbed at 'Dance for Peace', put together by and for the Ambassadors for Peace Office of the Asian Affairs and the 5th Avenue Lions Club.
Produced by the LinRa Promotions, Peel performs at 4West 43rd Street in Manhattan at 7 o'clock in the evening with songs like "Under The Boardwalk", "Up on The Roof", "On Broadway", "There Goes My Baby", "This Magic Moment", "Save the Last Dance for Me", plus wonderful covers of groups like The Platters, The Coasters, The Temptations, The Four Tops.
The Dance for Peace Concert is being sponsored by the OSM! online magazine, Atomy-USA, Javita Healthy Coffee, and Clean World Services.
Tickets are at $50, inclusive of snacks and flowing coffee. Its proceeds will sustain the programs of the 5th Avenue Lions Club for the health concerns of seniors in the Filipino communities in New York as well as the educational and cultural programs of the Ambassadors for Peace Office of Asian Affairs.
5th Ave Lions Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to help the Filipino community in America.
With heartfelt generosity and compassion, Linwood frequently performs at facilities for the aged-in nursing homes, Veteran's hospitals and for the elderly in custodial care. His latest gigs this summer in Boston, Staten Island, and Long Island had all been a full house. |
