Annie Cherry's Awesome Burlesque 101

Annie Cherry is excited to teach you about the many facets of burlesque performance art. We will cover concept, movement, choreography, costuming, staging, musicality, and more. We will work together to find your performance style and develop your stage persona. You'll develop your very own solo act. Prepare to be dazzling!

Class convenes seven consecutive Tuesdays at The Aquarium (above The Fishtank) in Kansas City, Missouri. Classes begin May 26th. Classes are from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. Class culminates in a semi-private invitation only recital (date TBA). Registration for this session also entitles you to a private one hour lesson with Annie Cherry and the privilege of attending Annie Cherry's Burlesque Body class at no addition charge from May 26th, through July 7th, 2015. Burlesque Body convenes immediately prior to Awesome 101, at 7pm, in the same location. You will also receive digital photographic images from your recital performance.

Class size is limited, so register right away! This class is open to all genders.

Class cost is $300. If this is prohibitive to your attendance, but you are committed and inspired, please contact Annie about barters, sliding scale, and payment arrangements.

Annie Cherry is a visual and performing artist, specializing in atmospheric immersive theatrical experiences. She is a nationally known burlesque performer, a R-rated clown, a Mistress of Ceremonies for hire, a comedy writer, and an ordained ceremonial officiant. Ms. Cherry performs, teaches, produces, and creates, when she's not cuddling all of her cats, and her teeny dog, Circus Peanut.
