Bainbridge Island Museum of Art's smART films series fosters community conversation through the merger of film, visual art and narrative. After each screening, audience members are invited to participate in an open exchange of ideas through moderated discussions which serve to anchor the film in the art and craft of our region and our time.

Individual admission: $10 adults / students free with pre-registration
Series admission: $30 adults / students free with pre-registration

WHY WE FIGHT (2005)
This documentary by Eugene Jarecki begins with the series of short films of the same title produced by Frank Capra in the 1940s and continues to the present with what he calls a "bipartisan inquiry into the workings of the military industrial complex and the rise of American empire."
