906 Theatre Company of Chicago Presents Boeing Boeing Written by Marc Camoletti Translated by Beverly Cross and Francis Evans Directed by Emma Couling 906 Theatre Company (906) is thrilled to announce the third show of our 2014-2015 Season Boeing Boeing. Directed by 906 Co-Founder Emma Couling, this classically funny production will run from February 20, 2015-March 8, 2015 at Mary's Attic 5400 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60640.
In this fast paced modern farce, playboy Bernard is engaged to three gorgeous flight attendants whom he juggles with the reluctant assistance of his housekeeper. But when the invention of a new and faster Boeing aircraft combines with weather delays, all three fiancées end up in town at once and Bernard's carefully planned love life devolves into chaotic, door-slamming hilarity.
906 co-founder Aaron Sarka (previously seen in 906 Theatre Co's The Importance of Being Earnest) will take the lead as the mischievous bachelor Bernard. He is joined by Cupid Players Company Member and Chicago actor Billy Sullivan as Robert, and 906 Co-Founder Sarah Sarka (also previously seen in Earnest) as Gloria. Making their 906 Theatre Co. debuts are Christine Arnold as Berthe, T'Arah Julieta as Gabriella, and Kaelea Rovinsky as Gretchen.
About 906 Theatre Company
In the spring of 2014 five Northern Michigan University Alumni united to form a theatre company that would reflect the pride and ideals instilled in them by their experiences in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan where the arts are a way to escape from the harshness of the climate and are supported as a vital component of the Yooper lifestyle. It is 906 Theatre Co.'s hope that by bringing this sense of artistic significance to Chicago, they can serve as representatives of their home and advocates of Upper Peninsula Culture.
