The Artful Gift is the first event in the Green Soirée series that combines an expressionism painting workshop with a wine tasting class offered by accomplished artist, Lance Green and wine expert, Michaela Hightower. For this class, the style of painting is expressionism, a free and uninhibited way of working with acrylic paints that allows the student to paint in a manner that makes it easier for him/her to express themselves. The wine class will explore great finds for your holiday table or gift giving. Invariably students will come away from the workshop with an enthusiasm for their work, a deeper understanding of wine...and an Artful Gift to share!
This class is highly recommended for every artist and wine taster from beginner to master! The workshop will provide paint, paint brushes, easels, three wines to taste paired with light bites, and engaging painting and wine education. Please plan plan to bring one (1) 9" x 12" canvas; both Michael's and Hobby Lobby offer canvases and coupons. The Green Soirée is $90.00 per person. Space is limited; reservations are required. |
