SCRAP DC's Rebel Craft Rumble

SCRAP DC presents the Rebel Craft Rumble, a live crafting competition like Project Runway or Top Chef -- but ours is intentionally wacky! These Rumbles have been sold-out blockbusters for other SCRAP chapters, and consist of 4 teams taking on 3 quick challenges to compete for the title of Extreme Ultimate Supreme Craft Master.
In each round, contestants will channel their inner MacGyvers, out-crafting each other with SCRAP's repurposed materials and their own wits, creativity, skills, and secret weapons! Three celebrity judges will rate projects on artistic merit, technique, and utility, but bribing is *encouraged* -- expect that to upend the scored results and lead to much hilarity.
Start breaking it to the kids that they're not invited to this one; it's a fundraiser exclusively for ages 18 and up. On the plus side: beer! Want more? How about the DC Lady Arm Wrestlers jailing people in the Hoarder's Den? We've also got silent auction items like gift certificates from establishments all over town and handcrafted work by local artists. And, you could walk away owning a piece of sports history -- a baseball signed by the Washington Nationals' Jerry Blevins.
