"Perennial," a play in two acts, follows Rosemary, an aspiring painter and free spirit who has just moved to NYC. While sketching in Washington Square Park she meets Tom, an architect and playboy. Their intense chemistry quickly evolves into a serious romance. Juxtaposed with this burgeoning romance are Tom's best friends, May and Donald. They've been married for several years and are now facing the monotony of their life together. Further complicating these romances is Leo, Rosemary's often inappropriate yet earnest best friend from high school. We watch these characters struggle, come together and fall apart as they try to find themselves.
