Jennifer Gaita Siciliano is a NYC-based, nationally award-winning bodypainter who fell in love with the art form of public bodypainting seven years back. A fine art painter at her core, her fluid style uses vibrant color as her main focus in her compositions so as to move the viewer into a mood tied to the compassionate themes in her work. Uniting provocative art with the purpose behind her work as a writer, Jennifers paintings use thematic symbols that explore the psyche of the human being inside various psychological and emotion states of mind. Come see her bodypaint Hardy Brooklyn into a full-scale work of art using the theme: The Duality of Opposing Forces. The piece will include an interactive audience participation component. Photograph the process, engage in an interactive painting night, or just watch and socialize with fellow art lovers over complimentary drinks and snacks.
Live art soirée series curator and up-and-coming performance artist Hardy Brooklyn had his first taste of being bodypainted on New Years Day 2016. It was a life-changing experience with art that came from the heart. He soon became active in the bodypainting and underground arts, music, and fashion scene as a model, event producer, and arts enthusiast. His energy is synonymous with being the life of the party.
Professional photographers will be on hand if you want tips and tricks for getting the best shots. You'll also be able to take home one high-quality print up to 11x17" of your best photo (list price $35) -- included in the $30 ticket price!
Solas Studio is Manhattan's only 24-hour boutique photo production studio, conveniently located just steps from Herald Square and Penn Station. Solas Studio is a full service production partner. Everyone from first-time hobbyists to veteran professionals can benefit from the studios hands-on, fine-art approach and portfolio of resources from framing and mounting to promotional printing to graphic design and art handling.
