This August an original comedy, The Hungry Ghosts, will debut on the main stage of the off-Broadway Barrow Group Theater. Set in a posh Malibu rehab facility, this full-length one-act tackles the issues of existential anguish, the nationwide opioid epidemic, and the power of human connection between unlikely allies. Starring TBG alumni Shane Allen, Connor Dylan, Nathaniel Mason and Patryce Williams. This play was commissioned from emerging female playwright Tessa Borbridge and is directed by Rachel Casparian (assisted by Zoë Van Tieghem). 8/23-8/25. Wednesday & Thursday @ 7pm, Friday @8pm.
All profits from this show will be donated to The Odyssey House, a facility helping New Yorkers in need overcome drug and alcohol addictions. Admission is free but donations are sincerely appreciated. |
