A new play written by Benjamin Lutz, directed and designed by Ryan Matthieu Smith, starring Brad Smith, Jonathan Barnes, and Joey Casoria!
Famed Drag Queen from John Waters films, Divine, performs his tastless brash nightclub act. Set in 1982, the play follows a fictitious night between Divine and two fans that have come to see him perform at a gay disco called the Boom Boom Room!
Opening at the historic Margo Jones Theater, this exciting new immersive piece takes the audience back to the alternative party world of early 1980's. More than a play; this party promises special drag appearances, new wave music, and the infamous DIVINE! |
