Stunning jazz musician Mark G. Meadows is back at the Casa, joined this time by legendary singer Akua Allrich. Mark is a pianist, vocalist, and composer who brings forth a message of love and social justice through his music. Washington City Paper awarded him best album and best composer of 2016 for his latest release, "To the People." Akua is a musician of extraordinary talent and crowd-moving passion. Her "jazz + neo Afro-Soul-Blues-reggae-funk-rock-folk music" electrifies audiences. Both Mark and Akua are D.C. natives.
If there was ever a concert not to miss, this is it. Doors and vegetarian FEAST at 6:30, MUSIC at 7:30. BYOB. Don't say we didn't warn you, kids. This one will sell out!
