Fauna is a collaborative pop-up dinner series that will highlight the complimentary cooking styles of Alison Cates (the upcoming Marisol) and Dan Cha (Entente) to focus on the bounty of Chicago seasonal produce. The two met five years ago while working for the Custom House Group. Both have gone on to work in some of Chicago's most notable restaurants (Longman&Eagle, Blackbird, Sepia...) before deciding to come together to create something unique in their own style, drawing from their Asian and Hispanic upbringings.
Dining in the brewery of Half Acre Beer company sets a relaxed tone to an elevated dinning experience to celebrate Chicago's bountiful spring harvest from local farmers. Dining in a unique communal format bringing diners together with food, drinks, and one another.
To stray away from the traditional "fine-dining" environment, we are looking for diners to feel relaxed as if at a friend's dinner party. We encourage guests to dress comfortably, be yourself, and most importantly, have fun.
Included in the $115 ticket price, the tasting menu with beverages and gratuity. Expect to dine with us for about 2 hours, with diners sitting at 7PM. |
