Hosted at Little Boxes Theater, Chlo & Co Dance is proud to curate an evening of Bay Area artists responding to the various degrees of fun. Are You Having Fun Yet? features guest work from:

Chlo & Co Dance will present several vignettes and a new work exploring the multiple ways that fun manifests out of varying positive and negative circumstances. Facing transition and challenged by the pace and expectations of the city, Courtney and Chloë generated concepts and prompts in response to their conversations and questions around fun. The vignettes and new work respond to the awareness that there is no single answer.

Guest artists delve into their responses to the ideas generated by Courtney and Chloës conversations, and the way that the notion of fun presents both challenge and joy: when it is fleeting, depletes, is physical, youthful, infinite, independent, stereotypical, or genuine.

About Chlo & Co Dance:
Courtney King and Chloë Zimberg met in 2012 and have been dancing and making work ever since. They started performing together in pieces by Scott Wells, Eli Nelson, detour dance, Fog Beast and Rachael Lincoln through the University of San Francisco. In 2014 they made their first dance film while living abroad in Paris and Bologna. They have continued to make dance films and live works performed in the city and on the West Coast, most recently at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, the LEVYDance Salon, and with Doré Dance Company. In collaboration with Little Boxes Theater, Chlo & Co Dance produces The Drove, which takes place twice a year and brings together Bay Area artists for an evening of curated work. Courtney and Chloë strive to create work that is aesthetically dynamic, physical, and that continues to respond to new questions and challenges.
