Our 15th Anniversary Ale, Bolt Cutter, is the next release in our 750mL Backstage Series.

Bolt Cutter is a cellarable American Barley Wine with an ABV of 15%. It pours a deep copper color and is strong, sweet, and malt-forward with a spicy complexity. We blended the final product using some beer that was aged in Bourbon barrels, some in maple-syrup Bourbon barrels, and some that went through our standard fermentation process. After blending, we allowed the beer to mature in bottles and draft for four months, resulting in a perfectly balanced beer for this release.

We will be selling this product in our taproom using a controlled six-day, pre-ticketed release. There is a limit of 250 tickets for each of the six release days. Each ticket reserves the right to purchase two bottles of Bolt Cutter, at $23 each (tax and deposit are included), ONLY on the date specified on your ticket. All reserved bottles are to be picked up in our Company Store during regular business hours (link: http://foundersbrewing.com/store-contact/).

By purchasing this ticket, you are securing your rights to purchase (2) bottles of Bolt Cutter, ONLY on the specific date listed on your ticket. All ticketholders for any given date are required to make their purchase on the date listed, or will forfeit the opportunity. Refunds will not be issued for unused tickets. Any allotted bottles that are not purchased on their given date will be added to the reserve inventory, which will be released at a future unannounced date. All ticket holders are required to have their ticket, as well as a valid ID, as recognized by the Michigan Liquor Control Commission, and will be required to pay for (via cash or credit card), in person, as well as pick-up their product on that given day.
