A classic tale goes rogue in The HEART of ROBIN HOOD, the heart-pounding, eye-popping new adventure from the American Repertory Theater and the Royal Shakespeare Company that puts a bold new twist on the story of the worlds most infamous outlaw. In this wildly inventive reimagining, Robin Hood isnt a beloved vigilante who gives to the poor... hes just a headstrong thief. Its up to the brave Maid Marian to protect the kingdom and show this legendary outlaw how to be a hero. This raucous and thrilling production explodes off the stage with swashbuckling, comedy, romance and music. This production of The HEART of ROBIN HOOD is directed by Craig Howard, assisted by Royea Fox, with fight choreography by Elliot Herzer, costumes by Denise Lorenz, and design by Larry Fox and Steven Adkins.
Opening night of The HEART of ROBIN HOOD is Friday, November 4th at 7:00 PM. The production runs November 5, 9, 10, and 12. Show time is 7:00 PM on Thursday through Saturday. Matinees will be performed on Wednesday, November 9, at 4:00 PM and Saturday, November 12, at 2:00 PM in addition to the 7:00 PM show. The production will be held at the STUDIO THEATRE in the center of the Sheldon campus, 8333 Kingsbridge Drive. Ticket prices are $10.00 general admission. |
