This is Why We Live brings to life the ironic and astonishing world of Polish poet Wisawa Szymborska. Weaving together the poems and collage work of a great female voice of the 20th century, two actors and a cellist take audiences on a journey through visceral encounters with the world. Open Heart Surgery Theatre delights audiences with a surreal, fragmented performance, created during residencies at Plateau 31 in Paris, France and Old Vic New Voices in the UK.
This is Why We Live comes to The Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts on October 15th, 8pm.
