In the city of Padua- a city filled with professional wrestlers, Lucentio arrives with Tranio and Biondello to attend university but when he sees Bianca- he instantly falls in love! There are two problems though: first, Bianca already has two suitors, Gremio and Hortensio; second, Biancas father, Baptista Minola, has declared that no one may court Bianca until first her older sister- the vicious, ill-tempered Katherine the Cursed, is married. In quick fashion, Lucentio plots to seek out Bianca's love by disguising himself. Hortensio plots to seek out Bianca's love by disguising himself. Tranio dresses up as Lucentio to take on Gremio... and the Pedant is disguised to save his life! Can the Katherine problem be solved? Maybe the newcomer, Petruchio Jones, can tame this Shrew! Who will finally win Bianca's love? Come out and see! It's an old fashioned pounding in Padua as all these characters suit up in their best wrestling attire to fight for love! |
