You heard us right...DOUGHNUT & BEER PAIRING! Yes, it's a thing and yes, it's DELICIOUS. Don't miss out on this fun event sponsored by Four Bullets Brewery and Shipley Do-Nuts.
The event will take place at Four Bullets Brewery in Richardson. A great casual venue for a fun event! Indoor/Outdoor space complete with tents (with all this rain lately, we are prepared). Plenty of parking available on the street and behind the brewery. There will be live entertainment for the first part of the event!
$20 for advance tickets
$25 at the door
Your ticket will buy you three tickets for three pints, three full-sized donuts and a Four Bullets logo mug to take home.
Our suggested pairing: (We tried it and it's AWESOME)
1. Boston Cream Pie paired with Two Pairs Pale Ale.
A west coast pale ale, hoppy but not overly hopped. Well balanced with hints of citrus, and a great aroma. Tastes incredible with the cream donut!
2. Maple iced with Bacon paired with Royal Flush Red Ale.
A Irish red, very smooth, lightly hopped, and full flavored. A very easy drinking beer. These two balanced each other perfectly. We wanted to continue with this pairing but ran out of maple donuts!
3. Chocolate Chocolate iced paired with Black Jack Brown Ale.
A traditional English Brown, full bodied with hints of caramel and a nice easy finish. A caramel finish beer with a chocolate donut...need we say more? |
