Lula Cafe (2537 North Kedzie Boulevard) will host an all women chef dinner on Monday, January 25th at 6pm. Led itself by an all women team including chef de cuisine Sarah Rinkavage, pastry chef Kelly Helgesen, beverage director Diana Hawkins and general manager Jade Tulak Lula was inspired to host this night by the female chefs throughout Chicago who are changing the culinary landscape. The first all women collaborative dinner of its kind, the event will replace Lula's Monday Night Farm dinner for the evening and will feature a course from hosts Rinkavage and Helgesen, in addition to one from each of the following chefs:
Iliana Regan, Elizabeth
Beverly Kim, Parachute
Abra Berens, Stock Cafe
Dana Cree, 1871 Dairy
The six-course dinner will cost $95 per person, which includes cocktail hour, wine pairings by Hawkins and tip. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Vicki Westerhoff of Genesis Growers, a partner of Lula's and a great representation of a strong female farmer. |
