Come learn all of the basic elements of modern calligraphy with Michaela of Studio von Berg! In this two hour course we'll cover the anatomy of type and nibs, practice basic stroke techniques, learn how to form the letters of the entire alphabet and construct words, so that you can make your very own pointed pen calligraphy creations! You'll come away with a knowledge of the tools needed and where to find them, as well as your very own take-home calligraphy practice kit, curated by Michaela.

Practice kit includes: a pen holder, nibs, her favorite ink, a pencil, practice sheets, a handmade leather nib pouch, and her modern calligraphy instructional guide book.

Students will also be provided snacks and drinks and a charming atmosphere to socialize while learning a new skill.

Don't get frustrated at home, come learn with one of the best and get some tips and direct feed back to help you along the way!! Tickets are non-refundable.
