Have you ever gotten off the train or bus, and imagined what could be built around the stop? Have you ever wondered if your Gen X cousin or Baby Boomer dad would imagine something different?

There's been lots of talk in the media about how the increasingly transit-oriented Millennial generation will shape cities, but few (if any) urbanists have intentionally engaged Millennials, Generation Xers, and Baby Boomers in an intergenerational dialogue about the role of transit in creating places that are sustainable, livable and equitable for people of all ages and backgrounds. We're about to change that.

For this TOD Talk, the CNT Young Innovators and Young Professionals in Transportation are bringing together a short panel discussion with experts from three generations to talk about what amenities, housing needs, transit modes, and accessibility options each generation wants. You'll also have a chance to share your thoughts on what you'd like to see near your transit stop (get excited - there will be sticky notes involved). And of course, there will be plenty of time for socializing, discussion, and refreshments!

Food and drinks will be provided.

Panelists:
Jacky Grimshaw, Vice President for Policy, Center for Neighborhood Technology
Andrew Vesselinovitch, Urban Designer and Project Manager, Ross Barney Architects
Kyle Smith, Economic Development Project Manager, Center for Neighborhood Technology

Moderator: Chris Dillion, President, Campbell Coyle Real Estate
